Our collective success was made possible by everyone at Capio. No matter how big or small the contribution, everyone was valued. It is this focus on well-being and culture that makes us Capio. Founded in 2019, our business grew rapidly as a newly started venture.

We achieved our goals through clear communication, healthy leadership, and lots of laughter during some challenging years that started with a Pandemic.

We found our home

It was time for a change of scenery once the headcount hit 25. So we packed our old office and moved into a new one. Whitefriars, in the heart of Bristol. More space, more light, more plants, a social space, and better meeting rooms. This office can hold 50 CapiHeroes. The downside? Our headquarters are not dog friendly anymore.

CapiHeroes everywhere

We doubled our headcount from Jan 22 to Jan 23 to 30 FTE while maintaining a 50/50 gender split. If you were wondering if everyone here is a recruiter, then no. Our people champs team is led by Chris Birtle, the newest asset to Capio. He joined us as Director and Head of People and he revamped the concept of culture. We became a people-first business.

We earned your trust

In 2022 we reached a Google Reviews milestone that fills us with so much joy: 140 clean five-star reviews from our candidates and clients. We increased revenue by 34.5% and we placed 318 candidates into new opportunities with 148 different organisations  

We found ourselves

Created a new organisational purpose based around creating opportunities that help in building a better future for our candidates, clients, community, and Capio People. We redefined our values and decided we stand for bigger and better things: humility, supportive, integrity, and dedication.

We decided to change our benefits package so it can meet our people’s expectations and needs. So here’s what we brought to the table: Financial Coaching through Octopus Money Coach, Gym Membership, Monthly Yoga, 2x Volunteering days on top of 25 Days, and 1 month fully paid sabbatical at 5 years of service – all of which we felt aligned with our purpose of helping to build a better a future
